
LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College women's tennis returned to winning ways on Friday afternoon, earning a 7-0 sweep of Ferris State at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center. The No. 9 Moccasins (10-1) won eight out of nine matchups against the Bulldogs (10-10) en route to their fourth 7-0 sweep of the season.
Magda Stepnik recovered from her first loss of the season on Wednesday by defeating Nicole Meylor in three sets in the No. 3 singles flight, improving to a team-leading 9-1 singles record. The Mocs have now won 49 out of 61 total singles matches and 22 out of 31 doubles matches. No Moccasin has a losing record in either singles or doubles play.
