Women's Tennis Downs Warhawks in Season-Opener

PENSACOLA, FL - It was a perfect day for Florida Southern College women's tennis at the Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex at West Florida as the No. 17 Moccasins downed the Warhawks from Auburn Montgomery, 4-0. The Warhawks (2-1) put up a fight against the Mocs (1-0) in doubles competition, but a 6-0 rout by Lorena Rionda and Magda Stepnik in the No. 2 slot and a close 7-5 win in the No. 1 matchup by Selin Devrimci and Minnie Kim won Florida Southern the doubles point.

Although every Moc in the singles competition won their first set, Florida Southern only needed results from No. 50 Rionda, Natalija Popovic and Lola Asis to clinch the match and earn the win.
