As a freshman (2017-18)… WGCA All-American Scholar… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Ended the year ranked No. 92 nationally in the Golfstat individual rankings and was 12th among freshmen… Played in 10 tournaments plus the dual match vs. the University of Kentucky… Played strictly as an individual in the fall but moved into the regular lineup in the Lady Moc Classic in February and remained there for the final seven tournaments… Posted a 77.39 stroke average… Had one top-10 finish, which came in her first college tournament, placing seventh out of 57 golfers at the Lady Falcon Invitational (Sept. 16-17) with a 155 (79-76)… Had a pair of one-over par 73s for her best single-round scores, one of them in the final round of the GolfRank Invitational (Oct. 10), and the other in the second round of the Peggy Kirk Bell Memorial Invitational (March 5)… Tied for 27th out of 100 golfers at the Peggy Kirk Bell with an eight-over par 224 (75-73-76) for her best three-round tournament score of the season… Finished 40th at the Sunshine State Conference Championships with a 240 (83-80-77), then shaved 10 shots off that score at the NCAA Division II Super Regional where she shot a 230 (77-77-76) to tie for 18th out of 66… Team counter in 15 of a possible 19 rounds during the fall.
In high school… Came to Florida Southern from Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio where she graduated in 2017… Competed in golf and track & field for the Warriors… First Team All-Northeast Ohio Conference all four years, and First Team All-North Coast League all four years… MVP of the Northeast Ohio Conference three consecutive years (sophomore, junior, and senior) and the MVP of the North Coast League three consecutive years, the first at Walsh Jesuit to be named MVP in both leagues… Also named the Ohio Coaches Association first team all-district as a junior and senior… Cleveland Plain Dealer Star Athlete, Akron Beacon Journal Star Student-Athlete… Akron Touchdown Nominee three consecutive years… Named Walsh Jesuit’s MVP as a sophomore, junior and senior… Holds the school 18-hole scoring record for both the women’s and men’s team with a 73.6 stroke average, which she set as a senior, and the 9-hole record of 35.6, also set as a senior… Led the Warriors to two league championships and won seven individual titles… Earned All-Academic honors all four years of her high school career, was captain of Mock Trial as a junior and senior, winning sectionals and districts in each of those years… Also involved in student government, campus ministry, ministry to the homeless, and the Warrior Mentoring program during high school, and was a member of the yearbook staff… Personal… Daughter of Alan and Beckie Lewis… Has one older brother (Trevor)… Favorite pro sports team is the Cleveland Cavaliers.
