Fuchs-Robetin Named Google Cloud Academic All-American

AUSTIN, TX - Florida Southern College women's basketball senior Anja Fuchs-Robetin has been named as a second team CoSIDA/Google Cloud All-American, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon. Fuchs-Robetin was a third-team Academic all-American last year. An exercise science major, Fuchs-Robetin sports a career grade-point average of 3.94 and is a three-time Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll selection.

The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Fourteen of the 15 members of the 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-America® Division II Women's Basketball teams have at least a 3.90 G.P.A., with five student-athletes maintaining a perfect 4.00 GPA. The five members of the first team have an average GPA of 3.93.

The 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-America® Division II Women's Basketball teams have five repeat performers – Emily Ferreri (Saint Michael's College), Anja Fuchs-Robetin (Florida Southern College), Kelliher, Emily Miller (Roberts Wesleyan College) and Hailey Tucker (Southwestern Oklahoma State University) from last year's CoSIDA Academic All-America® teams.

The Division II and III Google Cloud Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2018-19 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA Google Cloud Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
