Moccasins Post Three Top 10 Times at USF Invitational

TAMPA - The Florida Southern men's track team continued its spring season on Thursday and Friday at the USF Bull Invitational.

Josh Wagner, Mitchell Kozik, and Warran Grajalez all placed in the top ten in the 5000-meter race at the USF Invitational on Friday while Evan Williams finished ninth in the 1500-meter race.

Wagner took fifth place in the 5000-meter with a time of 15:37.12 while Kozik placed seventh with a 15:52.05 mark and Grajalez came in 10th at 15:59.65. Also competing were Brandon Williams who came in 23rd with a personal best time of 17:03.76 and Brian Martin who placed 24th at 17:25.68.

Evan Williams' time of 4:08.24 in the 1500 was good for ninth while Oswaldo Zapata and Mikey Papa placed 36th and 37th, respectively, with times of 4:35.88 and 4:41.58.

Evan Williams also competed in the 800 meter, finishing 25th at 2:03.49 while Zapata was 42nd at 2:13.13.

Matt Pennell came in 42nd in the 100-meter dash with a 12.22 while in the 400 meter, John Bryant placed 36th at 53.37 in the 400 meter while William Sailor came in 42nd at 58.98.
