LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College men's tennis won its first of an upcoming four matches in five days on Monday afternoon, winning 5-0 over West Chester at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center. The Moccasins (5-6) and the Golden Rams (0-4) played only five singles flights before the match was clinched by the Moccasins in just over an hour of play.
William Perrigan made his Moccasin debut and won a pair of 6-1 sets in the No. 5 singles flight while Brandon Pham won his first singles competition in the No. 4 flight with an impressive pair of 6-0 decisions. The Moccasins have recovered from an 0-5 start to the season with a 5-1 record in their last six games and a 28-12 record in singles and doubles competition.

The Moccasins will host three more matches over the next four days at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center. The Mocs will face Wayne State on Tuesday and North Georgia on Wednesday before concluding the week with a match against Ferris State on Friday. All matches will begin at 3:00 p.m.
