As a junior (2017-18)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Florida Southern Athletic Director’s Scholar-Athlete Award winner for men’s swimming… Had NCAA provisional qualifying times in the 500-free, 1000-free, and 1650-free, and along with fellow senior Luka Planinc is one of only two Moccasins to accomplish that in all three of those events over the last two seasons… Swam in all 10 regular season meets plus the SSC Championships… One of the Mocs’ regular distance swimmers as well as the 200-freestyle… Took part in the 100-free on three occasions and the 100-backstroke once… Finished the season ranked #2 on the Florida Southern times list in both the 1,000-free and the 1,650-free… Was #5 in the 500-free, and had top-10 times in the 100-free, 200-free, and 100-back as well.

As a sophomore (2016-17)… NCAA Division II Academic Achievement Award winner… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Competed in every regular season meet plus the Sunshine State Conference Championships… One of the Moccasins’ primary backstroke and middle/distance swimmers… Also swam the 100-freestyle once… Regular swimmer in the freestyle relay events and helped one of the 800 teams hit an NCAA provisional qualifying time at the SSC Championships.

As a freshman (2015-16)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Took part in seven meets during the season… Competed mainly in the middle and long-distance freestyle events but also made an appearance in the 100-freestyle… Took part in every 1,650 race, and all but one race in both the 500 and 1,000.

In high school… 2015 graduate of Oak Hall High School in Gainesville, Florida… Played lacrosse for five years for Rick Kirschner and swam for Will Eyerly for 2 years… Voted most improved swimmer sophomore year before being named Oak Hall’s Male Swimmer-of-the-Year as a junior and senior… Made honor roll all four years of high school… Member of the Gator Swim Club for the last two years where he was coached by Jamie Lewis… Ranked second on the Gator Swim Club in the Florida Swimming 2014-15 rankings for the 50-freestyle, 100-freestyle, 200-freestyle, and 100-backstroke… Personal… Son of Nancy Myers and Henry Gotsch… Has two sisters (Victoria and Lorissa) and two brothers (Wesley and Thomas).
