As a junior (2017-18)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Competed in nine out of 10 regular season meets plus the SSC Championships… Regular swimmer in the backstroke events, the sprints, and the 200-free… Competed once in the 200-butterfly and once in the 500-freestyle… Had top-10 times for the Moccasins in the 50-free, 500-free, both backstroke events, and the 200-fly.

As a sophomore (2016-17)… Competed in every regular season meet plus the Sunshine State Conference Championships, and was one of the Moccasins’ primary sprinters and backstroke swimmers… Compiled his best times at the SSC Championships… Regular swimmer on the 200- and 400-freestyle relay teams as well.
As a freshman (2015-16)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Took part in eight meets during the season all the way through the SSC Championships… Normally competed in the two backstroke events and the sprint freestyles… Also took part regularly in the 200-freestyle relay and 400-freestyle relay.In high school… 2015 graduate of Clackamas High School in Oregon… State qualifier all four years of his high school career, and team MVP as a sophomore, junior, and senior while swimming for coach Allen Larson… Helped the Cavaliers win the league championship his senior year after going undefeated in dual meets, and finish second in the district meet… Finished second in both the 50-freestyle (22.16 seconds) and 100-freestyle (48.50) at that meet and tied for second in individual scoring… Posted the top times in the Mount Hood Conference in the 50-freestyle and 200-freestyle, and was second in the 100, and 500… Had top-10 times in the 100-backstroke and 100-butterfly… Also played lacrosse in high school… In addition to his high school swimming, competed for Oregon City where he was coached by Matt Crum, and Mount Hood Aquatics where he was coached by Skip Rundle… Personal… Son of Dan and Julia Gilbreath… Has one younger sister, Hailey… Lists the Seattle Seahawks as his favorite professional sports team.
