Gamer: Monterrey Inst. of Technology & Higher Education Preseason All-American… One of Florida Southern’s five returning All-Americans who begins his junior year having won three individual awards (one First Team, two honorable mention) and two relay awards (both First Team)… Has competed at the National Finals in each of his first two seasons… School record holder in the 200-breaststroke… Has four individual wins in his career and been part of three relay wins. 

As a sophomore (2015-16)… First Team All-American in the 200-breaststroke (4th place) and Honorable Mention All-American in the 100-breaststroke (10th place)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… One of eight Moccasins to swim in all nine meets, including the National Finals… Regular swimmer in the two breaststroke events as well as the 200-IM… Set the school record in the 200-breast at the Division II National Finals in 1:56.20… Picked up four individual wins (three in the 200-breast and one in the 100) and won both at the Tampa Spartan Invitational… Part of two winning relay teams, one in the 200-medley and the other in the 400-medley… SSC runner-up in the 200-breast for the second year in a row and placed third in the 100… Ranked #1 on the Florida Southern times list in the 200-breast and was #2 in the 100-breast.

As a freshman (2014-2015)… All-American in the 200-medley relay (6th place) and 400-medley relay (5th place)… Honorable Mention All-American in the 200-breaststroke (9th place)… In addition to his All-American events, also competed in the 100-breaststroke at the Division II National Finals… Took part in five meets during the season, including the Sunshine State Conference Championships and National Championships, after coming to the team in January… Regular breaststroke competitor but also swam in the 100-butterfly and the 200-IM… SSC runner-up in both breaststroke races where he achieved NCAA provisional qualifying times in each… Also helped the Moccasins finish as the conference runner-up in the 200-medley relay and 400-medley relay… Had Florida Southern’s top times in the 100- and 200-breaststroke and was also the breaststroke swimmer on the Moccasins’ top 200 and 400-medley relay teams… Ended the year ranked #12 on the national times list in the 200-breaststroke.
