One of Florida Southern’s seven returning All-Americans… School record-holder in the 200-breaststroke.

As a junior (2013-14)… All-American in the 100-breaststroke (7th place), and the 400-medley relay (7th place)… Honorable Mention All-American in the 200-breaststroke (9th place) and the 200-IM (16th place)… First Team All-Sunshine State Conference… Also competed at the national championships in the 200-IM… Joined Florida Southern in the middle of the year and took part in the final three regular season meets, the SSC Championships, and the NCAA Division II National Championships… SSC champion in both the 100- and 200-breaststroke, and set both a meet and school record in the 200 with a time of 1:58.01… Placed third at the SSC Championships in the 200-IM… Finished third in individual scoring at the SSC Championships with 56 points, just four behind Saint Leo’s Matheus Assis and one behind Florida Southern teammate Juan Tolosa… In his half season with the Moccasins, won three individual races and was part of three relay wins… Was #1 on both the Florida Southern and SSC times list in the 100- and 200-breaststroke, and #2 in the 200-IM… On the national list, was #5 in the 200-breaststroke and #8 in the 100.

Transferred from the University of Georgia where he swam for two years for head coach Jack Bauerle and senior associate head coach Harvey Humphries… As a sophomore (2012-13 at Georgia)… Swam his fastest time in the 100-breaststroke at the 2013 SEC Championships (55:04), as well as his fastest in the 200-breaststroke (1:57.88)… As a freshman (2011-12)… Posted his fastest time in the 200-IM with a 1:54.14 at the 2012 SEC Championships… Qualified for the 2012 United States Olympic Trials in the 100-breaststroke.
