One of Florida Southern’s seven returning All-Americans… Member of Florida Southern’s 2012 National Championship 800-freestyle relay team… School record-holder in the 200-freestyle, and part of two school relay records in the 400- and 800-freestyle… Comes into his senior year having earned 21 All-American awards in his career (12 individual and nine relay), with seven each season.

As a junior (2013-14)… All-American in the 200-freestyle (8th place), 100-backstroke (7th place), 200-backstroke (3rd place), 400-freestyle relay (3rd place), and 800-freestyle relay (7th place)… Honorable Mention All-American in the 200-IM (9th place) and the 200-freestyle relay (9th place)… First Team All-Sunshine State Conference for the third year in a row… 2-time SSC Swimmer-of-the-Week (Oct. 14 and Jan. 13)… Competed in 10 meets throughout the season, missing the Rollins dual meet on November 22 while competing internationally for Venezuela… Member of Florida Southern’s SSC champion 800-freestyle relay team for the third year in a row… SSC runner-up in the 200-IM… Finished eighth in individual scoring at the SSC Championships with 46 points… Second on the team with 11 individual wins behind only distance swimmer Juan Tolosa (five in the 200-IM, four in the 200-freestyle, and two in the 200-backstroke)… Had six relay wins… One of two Moccasins to achieve NCAA automatic qualifying times in the 200-backstroke, doing that with a runner-up finish at the Nova Southeastern Sharks Invitational (Dec. 17)… Also finished second in the 100-backstroke at the Sharks Invitational… Won five consecutive races in the 200-IM, one of them in the Sharks Invitational where he also had two second-place finishes in the backstroke events… Ranked #1 on Florida Southern’s times list in the 200-freestyle, 100-backstroke, and the 200-IM, and was #2 in the 200-backstroke… Also ranked #1 in the conference in the 200-freestyle and the 200-IM, was second in the 100-backstroke and third in the 200-backstroke… On the Division II national times list, ranked #6 in the 200-backstroke, #9 in the 100, and was #8 in the 200-IM.

As a sophomore (2012-13)… All-American in the 200-IM (8th place), 200-freestyle (2nd place), 200-backstroke (4th place), 400-medley relay (2nd place), 400-freestyle relay (3rd place), and 800-freestyle relay (2nd place)… Honorable Mention All-American in the 100-backstroke (10th place)… First Team All-Sunshine State Conference… Set the school record in the 200 freestyle with his national runner-up finish (1:36.48)… Also helped the Moccasins set another school record at the NCAA Division II National Championships in the 800 freestyle relay, where they had another runner-up finish (2:56.80)… Won two individual titles at the Sunshine State Conference Championships with NCAA automatic qualifying times, and was part of one winning relay team… Set a conference championship record in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:37.76… Also won the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:45.69… Helped the 800 freestyle relay team win the SSC title as well, also with a NCAA automatic qualifying time (6:33.37)… During the regular season, had a total of six individual wins covering four different events (200 IM, 400 IM, 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle), and was also a member of eight winning relay teams (four times in the 200 freestyle relay, twice in the 400 freestyle relay, and once each in the 800 freestyle relay and 400 medley relay)… Helped the Moccasins win three different relay races in a double dual meet with Florida State and Emory (Nov. 3)… Won the 200 freestyle in back-to-back dual meets in January… Won at least one individual event in the final six regular season meets plus the conference championships… In addition to being Florida Southern’s top performer in the 200 freestyle, was second on the team’s top times list to Jeb Halfacre in both the 100 and 200 backstroke, as well as the 200 individual medley… Second to Dylan Lake in the 400 IM.
