As a sophomore (2013-14)… All-American in the 200 butterfly (7th place)… Honorable Mention All-American in the 1000-freestyle (16th place) and the 1650 freestyle (16th place)… First Team All-Sunshine State Conference… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Also competed in the 500-freestyle at the National Finals… One of eight Moccasins to participate in all 11 meets including the NCAA Division II National Championships… Tied for sixth place in individual scoring at the SSC Championships with 47 points… Set the SSC Championships record in the 200-butterfly with a winning time of 1:47.16… Also won the 500-freestyle, edging out teammate Juan Tolosa by 0.14 seconds… SSC runner-up in the 1650 freestyle to Tolosa… Won a total of seven individual races during the season (five in the 200-butterfly and two in the 500-freestyle), and was victorious in the 200-butterfly in all four dual meets where that even was held… Part of one relay victory during the season… Had four second-place showings in the 1,000-freestyle where Tolosa was the only swimmer who beat him… Finished second to Tolosa in the 1650-freestyle twice, including the SSC Championships… First on Florida Southern’s times list in the 200-butterfly, second in the 1650-freestyle, and third in the 500- and 1000-freestyle… Gave Florida Southern the top time in the SSC in the 200-butterfly with his school-record 1:47.16, which also put him fourth on the Division II times list… Ranked third in the conference and 16th on the national times list in the 500-freestyle.

As a freshman (2012-13)… All-American in the 800 freestyle relay (2nd place)… Honorable mention All-American in the 200 butterfly (10th place) and the 1650 freestyle (13th place)… Sunshine State Conference Swimmer-of-the-Week for January 7 following his performance in a dual meet victory over Bridgeport… Missed an honorable mention All-American award in the 1,000 freestyle by one place… Runner-up in the SSC Championships in the 200 butterfly… Earned five event wins during the regular season, including three in the 200-butterfly… Also picked up wins in the 500-freestyle and 1,000-freestyle… Won all three of those events in the Mocs’ win over Bridgeport on January 5, earning him the SSC Swimmer-of-the-Week award… Individually, was second on the team’s top times list to Juan Tolosa in all of the distance events (500-freestyle, 1,000-freestyle, and 1,650-freestyle)… Second on that same list in the 200 butterfly to 2013 senior Bruce Janzen, with a season-best time of 1:49.22 at the NCAA Division II National Championships.
