  • Florida Southern Places in Top-10 Percent of Division II With Academic Success Rate of 90 Percent

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Florida Southern College athletics continues to promote student-athlete success in the classroom as the department earned a Division II Academic Success Rate (ASR) of 90 for the 2012 cohort, the NCAA released on Wednesday. The 90 percent mark is tied for the highest mark that the department has ever earned, with the previous record set during the 2010 six-year cohort.

    LAKELAND, FLA. – The Florida Southern College men’s lacrosse program has released its 2020 spring schedule, which includes a trip to Baltimore, Md., and a game at historic Homewood Field. In all, the Mocs have a 15 game slate, which features eight home dates, including a string of four straight.
  • Lubs Returns to Florida Southern as Men's Lacrosse Assistant Coach

    LAKELAND, Fla. - Florida Southern College men's lacrosse head coach Marty Ward is bring backing back a familiar face to the Moccasin sideline for the 2020 season. DJ Lubs was announced as the Mocs' new assistant coach on Friday after spending the past two seasons as an assistant and eventual head coach at Michigan State. A former standout on the field for Florida Southern, Lubs was the first all-American in the history of the Moccasins' men's lacrosse program.
