FSC Men's Golf Concludes Copperhead Classic

INNISBROOK, FLA. – The Florida Southern College men's golf program completed the 2019 Copperhead Classic in 13th place, shooting a combined 890 or 38 strokes above par. The three-round event was hosted by the University of West Florida, and held at Innisbrook Resort's Copperhead Course.

The Mocs entered today in 13th place, after shooting a 591 through the first two rounds.

In Round Three, sophomore Johnny Tucker shot an even par 71, placing him one-over for the Classic. Over the three rounds, Tucker made par 31 times and added 11 birdies to finish in a tie for seventh place as an individual.

Freshman Chris Fosdick made a +2, 73 today, following his first two rounds of 72 and 71. His three-over for the event placed him in a tie for 8th place, as he made par 32 times, while adding 6 birdies and one eagle.

Sophomore Max Coutsolioutsos ended the tournament at +27, followed by senior Chase Ibbotson at +28.

The Mocs return to action on Monday, October 21, at the Otter Invitational, hosted by Cal State Monterey Bay.
