    LAKELAND, Fla. - Throughout the month of July, Florida Southern College Athletics will release its list of team MVPs for the 2018-19 season. Each MVP was selected by the team's head coach, and the list includes some of the top student-athletes in the country. MVPs will be revealed each weekday during the month at 10 a.m., and a list of their scheduled release dates can be found below.

Whitfield placed fifth in the advanced walk, trot, canter while Shoaff finished 10th in the novice over fences.

    SAVANNAH, GA - Emily Shoaff and Sophie Morgan took honors first-place honors to help the Florida Southern equestrian team to a ninth-place finish out of 16 teams at the two-day Savannah Art & Design Hunter Seat Event. The Moccasins placed 14 riders in 18 events on Saturday and 13 in 18 events on Sunday and closed out the Fall portion of their schedule.

In the Beginner Walk/Trot/Canter, Emily McPartlin came in fourth place while Shelby Cain placed fourth in the Beginner Walk/Trot.

We are still waiting for power to come on in Colony Arms Apartments, Roberts Academy, and a few FSC houses surrounding the campus.     OCALA - Florida Southern's new equestrian club team finished in 10th place out of 16 teams at the University of Florida's IHSA Hunt/Seat Event held this past Saturday. The Moccasins finished with 15 team points. Florida won its event with 39 team points.
