Traci Wood Haag played softball for the Moccasins from 1993-1996. A 1996 FSC graduate, she was a two-time first-team All-America selection (1995 and 1996). As a junior in 1995, she led the team with a .467 batting average, 73 runs scored and 71 stolen bases. Her runs scored total remains the FSC single-season record. As a senior in 1996, she hit .430 with 81 stolen bases. Her stolen base total that year remains the FSC single-season record. She also holds the FSC career records for runs scored (205) and stolen bases (183). She also was a second-team Academic All-America selection in 1996. Three times during her career she was a first-team All-Sunshine State Conference selection. As a freshman in 1993, she started on the Moccasins’ national championship team. During her career, FSC was 174-38 and won or shared the SSC title each year. She is married to former FSC baseball player Jeff Haag. They have a daughter and live in Auburndale, Fla., where she is underwriting team manager in fire operations for State Farm Florida Insurance.
