Tom Gleeton played golf at Florida Southern for three seasons. He finished his career in 1979 by becoming the first Moccasin to win the NCAA Individual National Championship. Twice named to the All-America team, Patri led the 1978 Moccasins with a 75.76 stroke average. A 1979 graduate, he was inducted into the Sunshine State Conference Hall of Fame in 1992.
