    MELBOURNE, FL – Florida Southern College has won the 2017-18 men’s and women’s Sunshine State Conference Mayors’ Cups. The wins mark the 10th time an institution has won both Mayors’ Cups in the same academic year.
  • Three Mocs Set Personal Bests at UNF Invitational

    JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Florida Southern women's track team continued its Spring season by competing in the 5000-meter event at the UNF Invitational held here Friday at the UNF Track on the University of North Florida campus. Hannah Nelson led the Moccasins with an eighth place finish at 18:15.12 which is the fourth-fastest time in the event in Moccasin history. Hannah Flemming was close behind in 10th place with the sixth-fastest FSC time on 18:22.35.
  • Cantor's 10K Time Is Second Fastest For Any Division II Freshman This Season

    LEWISBURG, PA - Addison Cantor made her debut run in the 10,000-meter event a memorable one by turning in the second fastest time for any freshman runner in NCAA Division II women's track this season as members of the Florida Southern women's track competed at the Bison Outdoor Classic here at the Christy-Mathewson Memorial Stadium on the campus of Bucknell University. Cantor turned in a 37:12.65 time to place 25th overall. Earlier this season, she recorded the 19th fastest time for any freshman in the 5,000-meter at the Pepsi Florida Relays with a time of 17:39.65 on March 29.
  • Mocs Set School Record in 4x800 Relay at ERAU Spikes Classic

    DAYTONA BEACH, FL - Hannah Flemming, Aleksa Guerra, Hannah Nelson, and Kassidy Watkins teamed to win the 4x800 Relay and set a Moccasin school record with a time of 10:08.38 at the first day of the ERAU Spikes Classic held here Friday. In addition, the squad of Amber Winton, Courtney McElroy, Michaela Peterson, Mackenzie Wills turned in a 11:07.47 to post the sixth fastest time in the event in Moccasin history to finish in third place.
  • Cantor Breaks Own School Record in 5000-Meter at Florida Relays

    GAINESVILLE - For the third consecutive meet, freshman Addison Cantor set the Florida Southern school record in the 5000-meter run with a time of 17:39.65 to finish 20th out of 44 runners at the 2018 Pepsi Florida Relays here Thursday at the Percy Beard Track on the University of Florida campus.
  • Hansen Sets School Record in 10K at USF Bulls Invitational

    TAMPA, FL - Freshman Stephanie Hansen and sophomore Anna Brook Opalinski each topped the school record in the 10,000 meter run at the USF Bulls Challenge here Thursday with Hansen turning in a time of a time of 39:55.54 to shave just over two minutes off the previous record of 41:59.87 set by Amanda Slattery at the Embry-Riddle Spikes Classic on March 31, 2017. Opalinski also bested Slattery's mark and now holds the second fastest time of 41:09.21.
  • Cantor Sets School Record in the 5000-Meter at UCF Meet

    ORLANDO, FL - The Florida Southern women's track team continued its spring season with two competitors at the UCF Black & Gold Challenge. Addison Cantor finished third in the 5000-meter run with a time of 17:42.57 to set a Florida Southern school record, shaving over 13 seconds off the previous time. Aleksa Guerra came in 8th in the 3000-meter steeplechase with an 11:59.22 time to become Florida Southern's first-ever competitor in the event.
