No. 19 Moccasins Nearly Pull off Upset Over No. 3 Lions

LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College women's tennis nearly pulled off the upset over Saint Leo on Tuesday afternoon at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center, falling 4-3 to conclude the regular season. The No. 19 Moccasins (15-6, 6-4 SSC) went toe-to-toe with the No. 3 Lions (17-4, 6-4 SSC), losing the doubles point in the tiebreaker of the No. 2 doubles flight. The match came down to the final point as No. 54 Marta Vicens Miquel escaped with the win in three sets (6-2, 3-6, 6-4) over Selin Devrimci in the No. 1 singles flight.
