Moccasins Sweep Flying Fleet in First Game of Spring Break Trip

HILTON HEAD, SC - It was business as usual on Saturday for Florida Southern College women's tennis as they swept Erskine College, 7-0, in its first game of three at Hilton Head this weekend. The No. 9 Moccasins (6-0) did not drop a set against the Flying Fleet (1-5). The Mocs had only one set where they allowed the Flying Flee to win four games, a 6-4 win by Magda Stepnik in the first set of the No. 3 singles flight.

The Moccasins continued to dominate in singles play, winning 26 of the 31 sets played in 2019. No. 50 Lorena Rionda and Stepnik remained undefeated in singles play, improving to 4-0 and 5-0, respectively.
