    LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College men's and women's basketball kick off their home schedules tomorrow night against Sunshine State Conference rival Palm Beach Atlantic, and the evening is set to be filled with special events, giveaways and a very special halftime recognition. The action gets underway with the women's game at 5:30 p.m., followed immediately by the men's game at 7:30 p.m.

The Moccasins (2-1, 1-0 SSC) won their fourth-straight Sunshine State Conference opener and defeated the Lions (1-2, 0-1) for the eight-straight time.

    CLEVELAND, TN - Camille Giardina poured in 22 points, but Florida Southern College women's basketball was unable to hold on to a double-digit first-half lead in a 70-68 loss to Lee on Saturday at the GSC/SSC Classic. The Moccasins (1-1) were quick out of the gate, but the Flames (2-0) hung around long enough to pull within two points at the half and caught fire in the fourth quarter to snag a win.

Kelly comes to Florida Southern after spending three seasons as an assistant at her alma mater, the University of Charleston (WV).
