Rymer Voted First Team All-Sunshine State Conference

The 2014 All-Sunshine State Conference Women’s Golf Team has been announced, and Florida Southern’s Emily Rymer earned a spot on that team for the first time in her career. Rymer is Runner-Up, Rajek is Scoring Leader on Final Day of SSC Championships

DADE CITY – Lynn’s quest for its first Sunshine State Conference Championship was temporarily put on hold by the weather, and while Saint Leo’s Marie Coors ended up setting a new tournament scoring record, Florida Southern’s Emily Rymer was able to push her for most of the day. However, neither Coors nor Rymer, or anyone from Lynn was better than Jackie Rajek, who had the best score of the day to help the Moccasins move up one spot in the final standings for a sixth-place finish.. Resurgent Mocs Get Big Jump From Creighton While Rymer Edges Closer to the Top; Lynn Now Leads at SSC Championships

DADE CITY – Though round one of the Sunshine State Conference Championships didn’t go as well as the Moccasins would have hoped, round two was a whole lot better as every player in the lineup improved their individual score and helped Florida Southern to one of its best team scores of the season.
