The Florida Southern swimming teams have been honored by the College Swim Coaches Association of America as NCAA Division II Scholar All-American Teams for the 2014 spring semester. It’s the fourth year in a row both squads have earned that distinction under head coach Duncan Sherrard, and Florida Southern was one of 32 schools with the men and women each receiving recognition. Led by SSC Swimmer-of-the-Year Alli Crenshaw, a league-high seven Moccasins were named to the 2014 All-Sunshine State Conference Women’s Swimming Team. GENEVA, OHIO – Sophomores Kelsey Gouge and Lauren Reynolds reached the finals in one more event for the Moccasins, and sophomore Alli Crenshaw added another All-American certificate to her name, as Florida Southern held on to seventh place on the last day of the 2014 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
