Sweep Complete by Crenshaw; Reynolds Also Wins Again as Mocs Finish Second at Shark Invitational

DAVIE – For the fourth day in a row, Alli Crenshaw brought home a gold medal for the Moccasins, and for the second year in a row, she pulled off a 4-event sweep at the Shark Invitational. The junior All-American won the 1,650-freestyle Sunday night before junior Lauren Reynolds won her second backstroke race of the meet, which enabled Florida Southern to finish second by a single point overall in the 6-team meet hosted by Nova Southeastern.. DAVIE – Alli Crenshaw made it 3-for-3 on Saturday with her third individual freestyle win of the meet, Lauren Reynolds gave Florida Southern another win in the 100-backstroke, and both swimmers helped FSC to a third-place finish in the 800-freestyle relay as the Moccasins re-claimed second place in the team standings at the Shark Invitational.. Morgan Burns Sets School Record in 400-IM; Crenshaw Wins Again on Day Two of Shark Invitational

DAVIE – Junior Alli Crenshaw led a large group of Florida Southern qualifiers with a win in the finals of the 200-freestyle, junior Morgan Burns set a school record in the 400-IM, while junior Kelsey Gouge and sophomore Cassie Ley were part of two near-misses in the two relay races Friday night as day two of the Shark Invitational ended with the Moccasins in third place out of six competing teams.. Crenshaw and Ley Set School Records on Day One of Shark Invitational

DAVIE – Florida Southern started the first day of the 2014 Shark Invitational with a win, a meet record, and school record by junior Alli Crenshaw, got another school record from sophomore Cassie Ley, and finished things off with a second-place finish in the 200-medley relay.
