Women's Soccer Begins Life on the Road This Weekend

The Florida Southern women's soccer team will play 14 of its 18 regular season games on the road this year, and it all begins this weekend with a pair of neutral-site games at Lynn University. The Moccasins open with two opponents from the Peach Belt Conference, taking on Georgia College on Friday at noon, and Armstrong Atlantic State on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.. Read the full story.

Women's Soccer Picked Third in SSC Preseason Poll

Led by 10 returning starters and four all-conference players, the Florida Southern women's soccer team was picked to finish third in the Sunshine State Conference preseason poll conducted by coaches and sports information directors. The Moccasins received 152 points, just two fewer than Florida Tech, which was picked second. Defending champion Rollins has been favored to repeat, picking up 14 of a possible 16 first-place votes. Florida Tech received the other four first-place votes; coaches and SIDs are not allowed to vote for their own team in the poll.. Read the full story.
