As a freshman (2011-12)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Took part in six tournaments, including two with the varsity team, two with the “B” team and two as an individual… Played in the regular lineup at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational and the University of Cincinnati Spring Invitational and was a counter for the Moccasins in five of her six rounds… Was Florida Southern’s #1 or #2 golfer in her two tournaments with the “B” team and had a 10th-place finish at the Lady Moc Classic as an individual (Feb. 20-21)… Had a final score of 228 (75-75-78) in that tournament, which was better than three of the Lady Mocs in the regular lineup.
In high school… Joined the Moccasins as a 2011 graduate of The First Academy in Orlando where she played golf for coach Earl Noffsinger… Won the coach’s award as a sophomore, junior and senior… Finished seventh at the district tournament as a senior… Also played two years of basketball and two years of softball for the Royals, winning the coach’s award in softball as a sophomore… Named the NYX Player-of-the-Month for the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour in May of 2011 after winning the JWU Series, Girls 14-18 division, by 15 strokes with a score of 71-73 = 144 (had 25 pars and four birdies in her 36 holes)… Helped the Ziegler Golf School win the 2011 Florida State Junior Team Championship, Girls 16-18 Division, in August… Personal… Daughter of Barry and Rhonda Rymer… Has one older brother (Andrew, 21) and one younger sister (Amanda, 15)… Works for Caricature Connection, drawing caricatures at Walt Disney World… Former high school teammate Nicole Quinn now plays at Auburn… Born September 18, 1992… Studio Art major.
