James Gibson

As a freshman (2011)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… On the roster but did not play in any regular season games.

In high school… Joins the Moccasins from Bishop Verot High School in Fort Myers where he played four years for coach Tom McGlinn… Four-year starter who was part of four district championship teams… Named the Vikings’ rookie-of-the-year as a freshman… All-State selection in 2010 when he had 15 goals and 12 assists, helped the Vikings go 26-1-2 with 20 shutouts, and win the Class 3A state championship with a 4-3 victory over North Broward Prep… All-State again in 2011, when he helped the Vikings go 22-4, with 26 goals and 18 assists, and advance to the state semifinals as a senior when he was one of only two returning starters.
