As a freshman (2011)… One of six Moccasins to play in all 15 games and the only freshman to do so… Started all but one of those games… Scored his first collegiate goal in 4-0 win over Savannah Art & Design (Sept. 6)… Assisted the eventual game-winning goal in 4-1 win over #5 Rollins in the Mocs’ season finale (Oct. 27)… Singled out for starring role as possession midfielder in 4-0 win at Saint Leo (Oct. 12)… Averaged 69 minutes per match… Went the distance in six games overall and five of the last eight.
In high school… Graduated from Wakeland High School in 2011… Played soccer for coach Rusty Oglesby… District MVP and First Team All-State as a senior when he led the Wolverines to a 24-2 record… Had 10 goals and 10 assists for a team that was ranked #2 in the nation at one point in the Powerade Fab 50, and advanced to the sectional playoffs… Helped Wakefield win the Class 4A title as a junior when the Wolverines went 28-2-3, scoring in the decisive shootout in the state championship game… First team all-district as a junior and honorable mention as a freshman… Played club soccer for the Dallas Texans Academy U18 team.
