As a sophomore (2011-12)… NGCA All-American Scholar… Division II Academic Achievement Award winner… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Played in all 12 tournaments, 10 of them as a member of the regular lineup and two as an individual… Team counter in 22 of a possible 28 rounds, and top scorer in three rounds… Had two top-10 finishes, the first of her career when she was eighth in the season-opening Lady Falcon Invitational (Sept. 24-25) and ninth in the Saint Leo Invitational (Oct. 17-18)… Shot a season-best 74 in the second round at Saint Leo (Oct. 18), but nearly matched it when she had two 75’s as an individual in the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational (March 5-6)… Finished 11th at the Peggy Kirk Bell, the third best score for any of the nine Moccasins competing… Florida Southern’s #3 golfer in both the NCAA Division II Super Regional and the Division II National Finals and had a 78.7 stroke average during seven rounds of NCAA Tournament play… Placed 22nd at the National Finals with a 320 (79-76-78-87), and was tied for 10th going into the final round.
As a freshman (2010-11)… Co-winner of the Florida Southern Athletic Director’s Scholar-Athlete Award for women’s golf (shared the award with seniors Marianne Andersson and Emily Flanigan)… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Cleared to play during the spring semester and was part of the regular lineup in three tournaments… Played as an individual at the Bash at the Beach… Best finish came at the Lady Moc Classic when she tied for 13th with a 3-round score of 233 (Feb. 21-22)… Shot a season’s-best two-over par 74 in the final round of that tournament… Team counter in four rounds.
Prior to Florida Southern… Joined the Moccasins from Gymnasium Jizni Mesto in the Czech Republic, from where she graduated in 2009… Played for the Golf Klub Cechie, and helped the club win the 2009 Extraleague, the highest level of national competition in the Czech Republic… Finished 28th at the International Women’s Championship in Austria in 2010, shooting a 4-round score of 312 (76-80-79-77)… Ranked 20th in the Czech Republic Amateur Rankings as of September 1, 2010… Personal… Daughter of Tomas and Eva Vejlupek...
