As a sophomore (2011-12)… Played in five tournaments overall, with three coming as an individual and two as a member of the Florida Southern “B” team… Finished as the “B” team’s #2 golfer behind Emily Rymer in each of those tournaments… Was the only Lady Moc to compete in the University of Cincinnati Spring Invitational as an individual… Had her best round of the season and best of her career with a 74 in the final round of the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational (March 6).
As a freshman (2010-11)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Played in all five tournaments with the Florida Southern “B” team… Saw her average drop by 4.6 strokes per round from the fall to the spring semester, the largest improvement on the team… Tied for fourth with teammate Megan Kiley at the Webber Classic (Feb. 13-14), helping the Florida Southern “B” team win the event… Had a season’s-best three-over par 75 in the first round of that tournament, and nearly matched that one week later with a 76 in the final round of the Lady Moc Classic (Feb. 22).
In high school… Joined the Moccasins from Dalton High School in Georgia where she played for coach Nancy Hallsworth… Made the All-State Team as a sophomore when she won the region tournament and placed third in the state tournament… 4-time all-region and all-area selection… In addition to four years of golf, also played one year of basketball in high school… Won two tournaments in the Georgia State Golf Association juniors competition during the summer of 2010… Personal… Daughter of Larry and Christine Duffie… Has one brother (William, 17)… Volunteers with VISTE, and with the local camps at Cleveland Heights Golf Club… Born June 16, 1992… Psychology major.
