AS A SOPHOMORE (2011-12): HONORS - USTFCCCA Division II All-Academic Cross Country Team ... All-South Region honoree ... SSC All-Championship Team ... SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll ... Cross Country - ran in six meets ... top finish was 8th at SSC Championships (8K - 26:20, 10/22) en route to earning All-SSC honors ... finished 10th at NCAA South Regional (10K - 32:51, 11/5) ... Track - ran in all five meets ... had three Top 10 finishes - 9th in 5K (15:38.18) at University of North Florida Invitational (3/30), 5th in 5K (15:50.70) at University of Tampa Distance Carnival (4/14) and 4th in 5K (15:49.02) at Disney Invitational (3/24).

AS A FRESHMAN (2010-11): HONORS - USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team ... SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll ... Cross Country - ran in all eight meets ... top finishes were 13th at flrunners.com meet (5K-16.55.64, 10/1) and at SSC Championship (8K-26:10.12, 11/6) ... finished 24th at NCAA South Regional (10K-34:00.3, 11/20) ... finished 157th at NCAA D-II Championship (10K-35:25.7, 12/4) ... Track - ran in six meets ... had two top ten finishes - 5th in 3K (9:13.39) at Embry-Riddle Last Chance meet, 2/18 and 8th in 5K (16:14.98) at USF Invitational, 4/1.  

HIGH SCHOOL:  2010 graduate of Lemon Bay High School ... competed two years in cross country, three years in track ... as a senior, won district championship, placed second in region and eighth in 3A state championship (5K - 16:25.52) ... two-time team MVP in cross country ... in track, won district and region championships in 3200 meters, placed seventh at 3A state meet (9:46.11) ... holds school record for 3200 and 5K ... was a delegate to Boys' State in 2009.

PERSONAL:  Son of Lisa Edmond and Richard Tomchinsky ... has an older sister and an older brother ... born 7/31/92 ... member of FSC's 2011-12 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee ... majoring in history.
