As a sophomore (2011)… NCAA Division II Academic Achievement Award Winner… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Florida Southern Athletic Director’s Scholar-Athlete Award Winner for men’s soccer… Played in all but one game, starting nine of the final 10… First or second reserve used in all five games in which he came off the bench… Third on the team with four goals and 10 points… Scored in three straight games in mid-October, and had game-winning goals at Saint Leo (Oct. 12) and at Clearwater Christian (Oct. 15)… Had one goal and one assist in 6-2 win over St. Thomas (Sept. 9)… Picked up his other assist in 4-3 loss to West Florida when he came off the bench and nearly helped the Mocs rally from a 4-0 deficit for a win (Sept. 11)… Also stood out in his midfield role in 1-0 loss to SSC regular season champion Florida Tech (Sept. 28)… Averaged 76 minutes per match.
As a freshman (2010)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Missed five of the first six games of the season, but moved into the starting lineup on September 25, and helped the Mocs to a 3-1 win over #17 Rollins, the eventual national runner-up… Scored his first goal and had both of his assists in 10-0 win over Ave Maria (Oct. 23)… Was one of the defensive standouts in a 2-0 loss to #22 Tampa… Averaged 72 minutes per match.
Prior to Florida Southern… Came to Florida Southern from the Preston, in the west central region of England… Graduated from Archbishop Temple School in 2008, and the Sixth Form Cardinal Newman College in 2010… Played soccer at Cardinal Newman for Sean Haslegrave, who had a 20-year career as a player in England’s professional ranks… Advanced to the national semifinals in 2009 and 2010 with Cardinal Newman… Also played for Cadley FC from 2003-08…3-time Manager’s Player-of-the-Year and 3-time Player’s Player-of-the-Year with Cadley.
