AS A SOPHOMORE (2010-11): HONORS: All-South Region Track Team ... Cross Country - ran in six of eight meets ... had one top ten finish - 7th at flrunners.com meet (5K-16:31.57, 10/1) ... placed 14th at SSC Championship (8K-26:16.02, 11/6) ... Track - ran in seven meets ... had four top ten finishes - 4th in 5K at USF Invitational (16:03.18, 4/1), 6th in 3K at Embry-Riddle Last Chance meet (9:14.13, 2/18), 7th in 10K at Coastal Carolina Shamrock Invitational (33:15.68, 3/18), 7th in 5K at FSU Twilight meet (16:08.49, 5/6).

AS A FRESHMAN (2009-10): HONORS: SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll ... Cross Country - ran in all seven meets ... was one of Mocs' top seven runners in every meet ... top finish was 20th (8K - 27:21.75) at SSC Championship ... placed 47th (10K - 34:59) at NCAA South Regional ... placed 158th (10K - 37:10.3) at NCAA Division II Championship ... Track - competed in six meets ... top finish was seventh in 5K (16:33.57) at Embry-Riddle Meet (2/20).

HIGH SCHOOL:  2009 graduate of Newsome High School ... attended Riverview High School freshman through junior years ... four-year letterman in cross country ... team captain as a junior ... state qualifier in cross country and track as a senior ... was Newsome’s #4 runner at 3A state cross country meet with time of 17:04, team finished in a tie for 5th ... honorable mention all-county selection in cross country ... member of honors court .. graduated in top 10% of his class.
