2012 co-captain along with junior Alyssa Abrahamsen, her second year as a Florida Southern captain… Begins her senior year as the Moccasins’ active career leader in goals (9) and total points (24)… Has started 51 of a possible 55 games since she arrived at Florida Southern and has played all over the field during that time... Of her nine career goals, five have come late in the second half to win the game or send it to overtime, and two others have given the Mocs the lead at another point in the game.
As a junior (2011)… NCAA Division II Academic Achievement Award winner… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Started all 15 games, playing as both a defender and forward, though all of her starting assignments came at center back… Tied for second on the team with three goals… Scored two of those goals in a 4-1 win at Pfeiffer (Oct. 9), and the other immediately before that in a 1-0 win over Flagler (Oct. 5)… Pfeiffer match gave her three multi-goal games in her career… Helped the Moccasins tie a school record with a season goals against average of 1.10… Also helped the Mocs pick up three shutouts and play eight other games in which they allowed just one goal... Team allowed more than two goals only once… Third on the team in minutes played, while averaging 88 minutes per match.
As a sophomore (2010)… NCAA Division II Academic Achievement Award winner… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… 2011 co-captain with Martina Tangen Billing and Emily Griffith… Started all 15 games in which she played, missing four games in the middle of the season due to injury… First 14 starts came at center back, but started the Mocs’ NCAA Tournament game against Florida Tech at forward… Scored her only goal of the season in that game, which ended in a 1-1 tie before the Panthers advanced on penalty kicks… Helped the Florida Southern defense record a 1.11 goals against average (the second lowest in team history) and four shutouts overall… Also helped the Mocs go through the entire season without allowing more than two goals in any game, the first time in team history that happened… Twice helped the Mocs hold an opponent to only two shots during the 2010 season… Returned from injury on October 5 against Tampa and helped the Mocs snap a 4-match winless streak by holding the Spartans to only four shots in a 2-1 win… Ended the game against Saint Leo in the first round of the SSC Tournament by winning the ball in the box on a Lions’ corner kick, allowing the Mocs to run out the clock in a 2-1 win (Nov. 2)… Averaged just over 90 minutes per match while playing in five overtime games.
As a freshman (2009)… Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player-of-the-Week for September 8… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… One of nine Moccasins to start all 21 games and the only freshman to do so… Third on the team with five goals, second with six assists and fourth with 16 points… Second in the SSC in scoring among freshman behind Barry’s Melissa Madrid, who had 25 points… Began the year playing on the Florida Southern back line but started the final 12 games at forward… Before moving forward, helped the Moccasin defense record its first four shutouts of the season… First defender in SSC history to be selected the league’s offensive player-of-the-week… Earned that award by scoring two goals in Florida Southern’s 2-1 overtime win at #9 Franklin Pierce, with those goals coming in the 85th and 92nd minutes (Sept. 4)… Scored those two goals on her only shots during the first four games… Also scored two goals in a 3-0 win at Tampa after moving to forward (Oct. 9)… Had one goal and one assist in 2-2 tie with Montevallo (Oct. 13)… Had two game-winning goals and assisted the game-winner on four other occasions… Averaged 86 minutes per match.
In high school… 2009 graduate of Newsome High School where she played for coach Kelly Townsend… Second Team All-Western Conference and First Team All-Hillsborough County as a senior when she helped Newsome give up just 12 goals the entire season… Selected to play in the Senior Soccer Challenge, matching the top seniors from Hillsborough County and Pinellas County… Played club soccer with the Lakeland Lazers where one of her coaches was former Florida Southern assistant Jason Streets… Also played three years with Real Salt Lake Florida and won back-to-back state championships.
