Jill Stephens enjoyed a standout four-year career for the Moccasin volleyball team (1991-94). She helped lead the Moccasins to a 121-34 record during her tenure that included a fourth-place national finish and three other NCAA regional tournament appearances. As a sophomore, she led the team in kills with 514 and had a team-best .353 hitting percentage. As a junior, she was the MVP for the 30-5 Moccasins and earned the FSC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award. In her senior season she had 486 kills and hit .369. No one in FSC volleyball history has played in as many sets (547) and as many matches (155) as Stephens. In addition to ranking first in those two categories, she ranks third in career kills (1691) and aces (217) and fifth in career digs (1475). She now is head coach of the Moccasin volleyball program.
