Kelly Cox

MA, ATC, LAT

Kelly Cox served her first year on the Florida Southern athletics training stafff in 2008-09. She came to Florida Southern from the University of South Florida where she served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Big East Champion women's softball team and the football team.

In addition, she also completed an internship with the University of South Florida's football team in the fall of 2005 after graduating from the University of Florida in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology with a specialization in Athletic Training and a minor in Health Science Education.

While at the University of Florida she worked with the football, women's soccer, and swimming and diving teams, as well as with local high school teams and at Shands Orthopedic Institute.

During her time at USF she received her Master's degree in Exercise Science through the Physical Education Department in 2008. Cox is a certified clinical instructor and teaches in the FSC physical education department.
