The 2018-19 season begins this weekend for the Florida Southern swimming teams as they begin their first year under new head coach Andy Robins with back-to-back dual meets Friday afternoon at Rollins and Saturday morning at Saint Leo. The men’s squad is coming off its seventh consecutive top-five finish at the NCAA Division II National Championships, while the women’s team placed 18th at last year’s national championship meet and has six top-15 finishes in the last eight years.
LAKELAND, FL - Florida Southern College's Student-Athlete Advisory Council will host its annual Canned Food Drive on Friday, Oct. 12 during the Moccasin volleyball match against Barry at 7 p.m. at Jenkins Field House. Fans who bring at least two non-perishable food items will receive FREE admission to the contest, and all donations will go to benefit local area food pantries in the area.

Florida Southern College Director of Athletics Pete Meyer has announced the hiring of Andy Robins as the Moccasins’ new swimming coach. Robins comes to Florida Southern with 23 years of college coaching experience and replaces former head coach Mike Blum, who joined the staff at the University of North Carolina in late July.
