MILWAUKEE - With the summer winding down, several members of the Florida Southern water ski team competed in the Malibu Open the first weekend in August, with sophomore Lauren Morgan winning the Under-21 Jump, and incoming freshman KC Wilson taking first place in the Under-21 Slalom.
Morgan, who was the National Collegiate Water Ski Association Female Athlete-of-the-Year last year, jumped 159 feet in winning the event. Wilson won his slalom event with 4.5 buoys at 39.5 feet off. Florida Southern was also represented by alumnus Manon Costard, who finished third in the Women's Open Slalom.
