Mocs Place 123 On SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll
30 Have 4.00 GPAs
A total of 123 Moccasin student-athletes have been named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Spring Academic Honor Roll.
The honor roll recognizes student-athletes who participated in basketball, swimming, golf, tennis, rowing, softball, baseball and lacrosse and who achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.20 for the 2012 spring semester. Of the 123 FSC student-athletes named, 30 recorded a perfect 4.00 GPA for the semester. FSC's total of 123 honorees was the most for any SSC school.
Conference wide, the nine SSC schools combined to place 799 student-athletes on the honor roll, with 110 achieving 4.00 GPAs. For the fourth consecutive year, the SSC led all 22 NCAA Division II conferences with an academic success rate of 86 percent.
