Another Regional Award for Snyder

For the second time in as many weeks, senior third baseman Mike Snyder earned a spot on one of the postseason All-South Region Teams. This time Snyder was a second team selection for the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
Snyder hit .325 for the Mocs this year with 13 doubles, a team-leading 12 home runs and a team-leading 47 RBI. Eight of those homers and 30 of his RBI came in Florida Southern’s 24 conference games. He was tied for second in the Sunshine State Conference in RBI, with only NCBWA Player-of-the-Year Anthony Boza of Lynn ahead of him with 50. Snyder also ranked third with a .620 slugging percentage, and was third in home runs as well. He had two multi-homer games as a senior and hit 22 home runs with 91 RBI in his 2-year Moccasin career.
