Mocs Place 2nd & 3rd In 5K At UNF Invitational

Eric Larson was second in a time of 15:09.29

In the 5,000-meter run at the University of North Florida Invitational in Jacksonville Friday night, the Moccasins' Eric Larson was second and Chris Yanichko was third.

Larson's time was 15:09.29 and Yanichko's time was 15:09.68.  North Florida's Mike Strasser was the winner in a time of 14:58.32.

David Tomchinsky gave FSC a third top ten finish, placing ninth in 15:38.18.

Also running in the event for the Moccasins was Matt Altman, who was 27th (17:12.10).

In the only other event in which the Moccasins were entered, Chris Trebilcock was 16th in the 1,500-meter run in a time of 4:05.38.  Logan Selzer was 36th (4:20.67), Andrew Coull was 42nd (4:44.96) and Zack Wheeler was 43rd (5:12.36).
