Mocs' Benoit Paradis Is SSC Men's Player Of The Week

The Moccasins' Benoit Paradis has been named the Sunshine State Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his role in helping the Moccasins win three of their four matches last week.
A sophomore from Quebec City, Quebec, Paradis won all four of his singles matches at No. 1 and three of his four doubles matches at No. 2.
He posted a three-set win over Ouachita Baptist's Mark Boskovic, won in straight sets over New York Tech's Pedro Peixoto and Merrimack's Max Eppley, then finished the week with a three-set win over 17th-ranked Atilla Toth of Queens (N.Y.).
In doubles, he and Carl Lundberg lost 8-5 against Ouachita Baptist, then he teamed with Emanuel Lueber to post wins over New York Tech, Merrimack and Queens.
Paradis shares the team lead in singles wins with 11 and shares the team lead in doubles wins with 10.
After starting the season 0-6, including matches against five top 10 teams, the Moccasins have won 10 of their last 13 matches and are now 10-9 for the season.
Paradis and his teammates are back in action Tuesday with a 3 p.m. match against Lindenwood (Mo.) on the FSC Courts.
