Four FSC Skiers Compete In Under 21 World Tournament

Lauren Morgan Helps USA Win Gold Medal

Four members of Florida Southern's water ski team competed in the Under 21 World Tournament in Meuzac, France, over the the weekend.

Lauren Morgan, a newcomer this season, placed fourth in the women's overall competition and helped the USA Team win the gold medal.  She was second in the jump competition, fifth in the slalom and 11th in the trick competition.  Manon Costard, who represented her home country of France, placed seventh in the women's overall.  Alex Paradis, representing his home country of Canada, placed 10th in the men's overall competition.  Mario Mustafa represented his home country of Peru and had a top finish of 18th in the men's jump competition.

The water ski team opens its fall season this weekend Sept. 10-11 with back-to-back meets against Rollins.  The meets will be held at Lake Grew in Polk City.
