Mocs' Fall To #1 Armstrong Atlantic 8-1

The Moccasins ended a string of three-straight matches against the top three teams in Division II Friday, dropping an 8-1 decision to top-ranked and defending national champion Armstrong Atlantic at Savannah, Ga.

The match was a make-up of the contest that was rained out Feb. 5.

Michael Knoedler had the Moccasins' only win against the Pirates, taking a 7-5, 6-3 decision at No. 1 singles.

The Moccasins (3-3) play Lake Superior State Monday at 10:30 a.m. on the FSC courts.
