Mocs Finish Sixth At Rollins Invitational

Shelton Smith had the Mocs' top finish at 213

The Moccasins completed their fall season with a sixth-place finish at the Rollins Invitational at Forest Lake Golf Club in Ocoee Tuesday.

Nova Southeastern won the tournament with a team score of 845 for the three rounds.  St. Edwards (Tex.) was second at 848.  Barry and Lynn tied for third at 850.  Rollins was fourth at 856, nine strokes ahead of the Moccasins' 865 team score.

Shelton Smith led the FSC contingent with a 213 that tied him for 10th.  Tobin Dunigan had a second-round score of 70 and a final round 72 to finish at 217 in a tie for 25th.  One shot back was Matt Stauch, who came in at 218 in a tie for 30th.  Danny Evelyn was one behind Stauch at 219 in a tie for 32nd.  Peter Creighton finished at 225 in a tie for 52nd.

The Moccasins were without the services of Jude Eustaquio, who was unavailable for the tournament due to a prior commitment.
